Notes: Dues are payable on an annual basis (January 1 to December
31) and are not prorated. An applicant may request that membership
become effective on January 1 of the following year if the application
is submitted after the October annual meeting. NAVA is a 501(c)(3)
tax-exempt organization, and membership dues and other donations are
tax deductible to the extent allowed under United States law and article
XXI of the 1980 United States-Canada tax treaty. US$8 of the membership
dues are allocated to Raven: A Journal of Vexillology.
Your membership will be processed after your first year's dues are
received. This normally takes 3 to 4 weeks. To accelerate the process,
you can apply online and pay through PayPal
(www.paypal.com), by sending the payment to "treas@nava.org".
