NAVA's own Peter Orenski explains how he led the campaign to design, select, and adopt a flag for his home town.
Spurred by the results of NAVA's 2004 City Flag Survey, the local newspaper in Mesa led a successful effort to
create a flag for the city.
Utah's state flag is generally indistinguishable from half of all American state flags. The Salt Lake Tribune
polled readers and NAVA helped organize the search for a new flag. The winning design was #25.
The Kansas City Star asked NAVA to help with a contest to design a new flag for a city with a record number of
previous designs. The winning design was #18.
